Olympia 2015... WOW!
This expo was one for the books. You have fitness mixed with nutrition, supplements, fitness celebrities, and over 55,000 attendees from all over the world who share the same love for fitness. You have world class professional athletes, fitness competitors, bodybuilders, and the largest fitness brands in the world all in one city. Las Vegas was turned into a large hub for the world's healthiest and largest population of fitness enthusiasts.

We had athletes flying in from three different states on Friday and everyone was arriving at different times, so we decided to have a team bonding day/night versus the madness at the Mr. Olympia Expo. What does a team of bodybuilders and fitness enthusiasts do? We work out together! Duh!
We linked up with Jea Jung, owner of City Athletic Club, in Las Vegas. Let me just begin by saying, it is by far the best customer service we have ever received at a gym; especially with the size group we had. Customer service goes a long way in our book. We definitely recommend training at this gym whenever in Las Vegas; it's like a mini nightclub inside with all top-of-the-line equipment.
The girls split up and worked shoulders and abs. The boys worked shoulders, chest, and didn't want to leave so they did triceps as well. The gym had some of the most world renown trainers and athletes working out side-by-side to you. Who would want to leave a gym that has that? The team was able to meet the humble and dedicated man himself, The Online Coach.
We wrapped up the gym session towards 7-7:30pm when the gym just filled up with people coming from the Expo. The rest of the night was filled with team bonding, stories, and learning about each other until we knew it was time for bed. This night was a pivotal moment for everyone on the team. We had formed an even stronger bond and realized that we all come from separate places, different backgrounds, different stories, but we're all cut from the same cloth.

We were amazed to see our entire team up before their alarm clocks even went off. You could sense the excitement in the air. THEY WERE READY! The entire team met up at the Monte Carlo Resort, "The Pub", for brunch and reminisced about the night before and how great it was to all be in person as one big team.
At about 9:00am we all piled into the Modus Van (seats about 12) and headed back over to the City Athletic Club gym. As soon as we walk in, who do we see throwing down heavy weight on the bench? None other than Rob & Dana Linn Bailey. I must say, these two are some of the most humble and down to earth people we've ever met in the entire industry. They're just two normal people that have above average goals and do whatever it takes to achieve them; same as us! We ended up talking to Rob for a good 15-20 minutes on the industry, business, future growth, and what our clothing companies are both focused on moving forward. Not typical conversations you have after just meeting someone, but it was genuine as could be.
We stayed for about two hours and got another amazing workout in with motivation just pouring out of the walls.
Mr. Olympia Expo 2015... Where do we even begin... Let's start with the first team picture we took before the madness began.
We received so much love from fans, followers, and loyal customers before we even stepped through the door. With just launching under 7 months ago, this is something we're not really used to. We're used to being the ones in the fitness industry that look up to athletes, brands, and companies that are making waves on social media. It was a humbling and eye-opening experience when people come up to your team and share their story and ending on how we've changed their life for the better.
Since we decided to invest our money in Men's and Women's premium gear and save on buying a booth at the expo, a lot of our athletes were working at supplement booths at the Mr. Olympia expo. It was a great chance to link up with them and meet everyone that they were working with for the weekend and hear their stories as well.
I think it's safe to say that each of us were walking around with giant smiles on our faces. We were like kids in a candy store. It's almost surreal already brokering deals to have a full booth setup for Mr. Olympia 2016 after experiencing how large of a weekend it actually is for fitness enthusiasts.
It was truly amazing meeting all of you at our very first Mr. Olympia Expo and we can't wait to share the experience again next year at the Modus Apparel booth.
